Born April 7, 2003 at 4:00 pm.

Saying hello to mom.

At two weeks old I finally had a name:
Raftered Hearts Silver Salute, in keeping with the fireworks theme since
my momma was conceived on the Fourth of July, 1996.

See how tall I'm getting? 5-2-03
My first show: (AMHR Pacific Crown Show, Elma, WA. May 30-June 1, 2003:

I was so excited, I had to drink lots of milk to calm my nerves!

That dog needs to watch out!

August 13, 2003. How many colts get to run free on a beach at sunset?
Mouse did exceptionally well at his last two shows of 2003, most notably the Oregon State Fair,
where he was named Reserve Grand Champion Jr. Stallion out of eight stallions.

Showing off his neck ribbons from Sea Tac!

Aug. 31, 2005, Oregon State Fair.
Mouse was Senior Grand Champ Gelding at the Oregon State Fair AMHR show.
He is learning to drive and has made a few attempts at Hunter in both AMHA and AMHR, but
obviously we still have a lot of work to do. We have yet to place!
Mouse was feeling a little bit of
"model" flair and so he tried on his new Shetland style show halter from Prime Design:

Oregon State Fair, 2006 AMHR Open Hunter (ew this was about 11 p.m.!)
We finished the course, but didn't place...showing improvement!
His form is really nice, and his ground manners are good, but we have a lot of work to do this Winter.
