Raftered Hearts TNT
(Aaprina In Pharaoh's Freeanda X Raftered Hearts Cherry Bomb)

(click his name for a full pedigree on "Pyro")

Nothing about Pyro's life is a gimme. He was stuck tight on his way into the world, and just when I'd given up hope on getting him out (it was over 5 minutes worth of pulling. 5 minutes that seemed like an hour!), he exploded to life.
Having come at about 2 a.m. on a night when all in the house were ill except myself (that would come later), he had already imposed on chaos to insinuate his way into our lives.
His dam, Cherry Bomb, was exhausted, but Pyro was unfazed and wondering why he was being ignored as his dam and I laid there catching our breaths. He was up, nursing, nickering and racing around his stall within a half hour of birth.
Clearly he had an extra something special to his personality.

His expression and inquisitive nature keep us entertained.

His presence is unmistakable, even in a fuzzy foal coat.

Link to a short video clip of Pyro, at a few days old.

He is always interested in his surroundings.

Everything is so new and exciting, even if you've seen it all before!
It wasn't long until Pyro made his way to his first show.

He was named Reserve Grand Champion Junior Stallion at Sea-Tac AMHA show at two months of age.

He loves racing around the pasture almost as much as he loves showing off in the ring.

If there is a toy to be found, he will give it a test drive:

"Here. You show me how it goes."

It's hot out, but Pyro's pretty hot, himself!

He's so photogenic with his expressiveness.

Every angle's his good side.

The great thing about shows is all the new friends!
He will continue to show in 2007 as a Junior Gelding.
